Virtual Assessment

After you contact us and schedule your first consultation, one of our endometriosis specialists will meet with you for a virtual assessment and consultation. Please expect the following before, during, and after a virtual consultation.

  1. Initiating the Virtual Visit:

    • At the scheduled time, please join the virtual waiting room.
    • Your doctor initiates the video call at the scheduled appointment time.

  2. Consultation:

    • You will have a live, face-to-face conversation with your expert, similar to an in-person visit.
    • Your doctor reviews your medical history, discusses symptoms, asks questions, and may conduct a visual examination.

  3. Diagnosis and Treatment Plan:

    • Based on the virtual assessment, your doctor, who is an experienced endometriosis specialist, makes a diagnosis, discusses treatment options, and may request some more documents.

  4. Follow-Up and Documentation:

    • If necessary, your doctor schedules follow-up virtual visits to bring other experts and discuss your situation in more depth and detail. 
    • The virtual assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan are documented in the patient’s electronic health record (EHR).
